CENTRIFUGE-Ridgecrest, NC (for completed 6 -12 grade student)
July 10-16, 2012
We are excited to announce that this year, we will return to North Carolina to Centrifuge, a Southern Baptist Discipleship Camp for students. We look forward to seeing what to seeing what amazing things God is going to teach us about HIS Grace and HIS Love!
Space is limited to 46 students and 10 leaders. Everyone needs to know that going to camp is a PRIVILEGE and not a right. The Student Ministry Leadership Team will approve all applications based on the student's history of following directions, respect for authority, spirit of cooperation and maturity.
We want camp to be a safe and memorable time for everyone. Our hope is that every person attending will grow closer to the Lord. And that relationship will affect other relationships for God's glory.

Why the name Mars Hill?
At FBC Pompano, our students have the same opportunity. Like Paul, we want to take the message of the gospel into a diverse culture to bring renewal and restoration in Jesus’ name. We want to see students develop into the likeness of Christ. We desire to not only share the gospel of Christ, but also our own lives with these students. The story of Mars Hill (Areopagus) can be found in Acts 17. “Mars Hill” comes from the name of the center of cultural life in ancient Athens, Greece. Mars Hill was the place where Paul, an early Christ follower, went into the city to tell people about the God who made the universe and Jesus, who came to renew and restore what’s wrong in the world.
