Our Hand Holder

From everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him…” (Psalm 103:17).

His children! Maybe, this is something we all need to hear and should always hold dear. We will never outgrow the need for God’s love and we will never outlive the extent of His love. His love is from everlasting to everlasting. He will never stop loving you and will always be there for you. God will forever hold you in the grip of His great love!

On the brink of a bluff above Lake Michigan a three-year-old stood with his father. The waters below were whipped up by a boisterous wind. It was a frightening sight for the small fellow. So he held out his pudgy hand and said to his father, “I need a hand holder.” So dad held on to his hand. Later on that evening, the young child awoke in the middle of the night and went to look for his father in the strange home in which his family was visiting. He walked down the long hallway and, in a daze, stumbled and fell down, bumping his head, and causing him to cry. His mother rushed out to him and asked, “What happened?” He replied, “I didn’t have my hand holder.” We all need a hand holder who loves us and watches over us. God loves you and wants to walk through life with you and hold your hand. He wants to be your hand holder. That’s how much He loves you. Think about that!

Devotedly yours,

Pastor Ron
