Which of the following areas can be made complete by the use of your spiritual gift?

In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul tells us that we are all given a spiritual gift for the edification of the body (church). All parts are needed for the body to be complete and function properly.

 

         Find Your Place In Women’s Ministry

 

Prayer –  A team of women committed to praying about details and decisions regarding the plans and activities of the Women’s Ministry to ensure our stated purpose is accomplished according to God’s will.

Bible Study– This team helps develop ministry through ongoing weekly studies and groups; previews each study; secures leaders for each group.

Special Events – Secures special teams that join together to plan and implement retreats, conferences, banquets, luncheons, seminars and other special events.

Decorations – Works with Special Events team to plan decorations around the theme of the event or study.

Ladies Gathering– Serves as the Master of Ceremonies at each Gathering.  Secures worship leaders and women to share their testimonies at the Gatherings, as well as, coordinates the food. This event is held three times a year.

Hospitality – Greets and makes each woman feel welcome at all women’s activities.

Registration – Works with  church support staff to take reservations and sell tickets; is responsible for receiving and handling money for event ticket sales (to include Bible Study material); provides name tags at all functions.

Mission Emphasis – Works with church missions committee to coordinate missions education ministries; provides information and prayer calendars; provides information on special mission prayer emphasis at the church.

Correspondence –  Records and distributes minutes for Women’s Ministry meetings.

Outreach/Evangelism – is aware of community needs and offers ministry to meet those needs (short and long term); encourage seeker-sensitive activities to reach the unchurched.

New Member Lunch – Three time a year hosts, coordinates and mails invitations to all new women members of FBC Pompano.  They are invited to the Women’s Ministry Luncheon Meeting as a “New Member Welcome”.
